My love for photography began in the 90s when I got my hands on a used Polaroid camera, a dinosaur that I still own to this day. It has been with me since day one, the film might only come out black now and stay black no matter how fast I wave it around or how long I wait for it to develop but that’s okay because we’re two peas.  Don’t worry, I have upgraded my camera since then and your photos will only look like a polaroid image if you ask me to make it so. 

When I decided to pursue photography professionally I didn’t exactly know where I would land in that journey. But here I am, smack in the middle of everything that I love, with a camera in my hand. My favorite thing about being a photographer is hearing your vision and bringing it to life. Or helping you to create a story that is reflected in your final images. I also love unplanned moments, those special candid moments when no one is looking…well, except me, it’s literally what I’m there for. I feel like the luckiest gal to be on my side of the lens as you and your loved ones relax and forget that I am even there. 

On a more personal note, I am a Navy wife and a mom to two of the most amazing humans I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. They are 19 and 17 now, but as littles I was able to get away with bribing them with pieces of gum if they promised to not collapse when I pointed the camera in their direction. These days it’s more like iced coffee or their favorite meal. I also have two cats and a senior dog who is about to turn 17, they pose for free.

The support of my family, friends and clients over the years has been invaluable to my success as a photographer and I am over the moon grateful to be able to do what I do.
